From January the 1st 2016 Cagliari has become a metropolitan city. Since 1990, the city of Cagliari has been through massive transformations, primarily the infrastructural system. The construction of the Asse Meridiano thoroughfare connecting Cagliari to the rest of the island, marks a dramatic caesura among the historic urban fabrics. The photographic project by Cédric Dasesson explores he residual and lost spaces, which lie under the infrastructural elements, where nature reclaimed and taking over them.
